SUMMER TRAINING
Overview
School of Mystic Ballet offers Summer Training Program classes in Pre-Ballet,
Classical Ballet, Jazz and Modern with a comprehensive curriculum designed for
the beginner and serious ballet student. Curriculum is based on age and level
of development. Depending on the age and level of the student classes meet twice
per week, three times per week, or daily.Under the supervision of Artistic Director,
Desiree Subotic, the program offers top quality teachers, resident
faculty that are dedicated to the learning process and growth of each individual
student. Class sizes will be limited.

Where can I buy the dress code attire?
Class A - Overview
Each day children will take a 45-minute rhythm & movement/ creative dance
class: after a short break, they will explore all aspects of a famous classical
ballet through the characters, storyline, music and mime. The stories will come
alive with the students' own natural curiosity and creativity. No prior ballet
training or audition is necessary.

White Ankle Socks- Students may wear any plain, thin white socks from their
wardrobe. Tights are not worn at this level.
Pink Ballet Slippers- Capezio leather slippers and pink elastic.

Black Bike Shorts
White Ankle Socks- Students may wear any plain thin white socks from their wardrobe.
White Ballet Slippers- leather slippers with elastic
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please do not wear skirts, legwarmers, jewelry or hair ornaments.
Longer hair should be pulled neatly back, away from the face. For girls, a bun
is preferred.

Class B - Overview

Each day students will spend the beginning of the day engaged in a classical
ballet lesson & ballet workshop focused on creative expression and movement.
After a short break, students will have the opportunity to explore other styles
of dance, such as jazz and musical theater.

to its Summer Intensive Program a 2 week comprehensive curriculum taught by
our international faculty, focusing on the development of classical ballet technique,
while offering contemporary elements such as modern and jazz, necessary for
the professional dancers of tomorrow.

Placement
The Summer School curriculum includes two main levels, with three classes for
each level. Placement classes are conducted by faculty, and each student is
placed in the level that will most effectively challenge his or her abilities.Curriculum
is based on age and level of development. Depending on the age and level of
the student classes meet twice per week, three times per week, or daily.
